Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Introduction

Sarivale Ltd (“Sarivale”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone who interacts with us through our website. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about how we handle your personal data, please contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Who We Are

Sarivale Ltd is a precision speaker cabinet manufacturer based in Calne, Wiltshire. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 02578314), with our registered office at Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9PL.

What Personal Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you provide to us directly through our website contact form. This includes:

  • Your name
  • Your company name (where provided)
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number (where provided)
  • The content of any message you send us

We do not collect any personal data automatically beyond what is described in our Cookie Policy. We do not use any tracking pixels, behavioural advertising tools, or third-party analytics that profile individual visitors.

How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the personal data you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide the information or quotation you have requested
  • Discuss your potential project and any questions arising from your initial enquiry
  • Maintain a record of our communications with you so that we can pick up the conversation at a later date if needed

We will never use your personal data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the enquiry you have made, unless you have given us specific consent to do so.

Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis on which we process your personal data depends on the situation:

  • Consent. When you submit our contact form you are consenting to us using your details to respond to your enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
  • Legitimate interests. Where we have an existing or developing business relationship, we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining contact with current and potential clients in a way that does not override your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation. In rare cases we may process or retain personal data because we are required to by law (for example, in response to a court order or formal request from a public authority).

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from the date of last contact. After this period, the data is deleted from our systems unless an active client relationship has been established, in which case we retain the relevant data for as long as the relationship continues plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and tax purposes (typically six years, in line with HMRC requirements).

You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See “Your Rights” below.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. We do not transfer your personal data outside the United Kingdom. The only circumstances in which we would share your data are:

  • If we are required to do so by law, regulation, or a binding order from a competent authority
  • If sharing is necessary to protect our legal rights or the safety of others

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies on this website. Full details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access. You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification. You can ask us to correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to erasure. You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions where we are required to retain it.
  • Right to restriction of processing. You can ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability. You can ask us to provide a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to object. You can object to our processing where it is based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within one calendar month, in line with UK GDPR requirements. We will not charge a fee unless your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Making a Subject Access Request

To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, please email enquiries@sarivale.co.uk with the subject line “Subject Access Request”. Please include enough information for us to identify you (for example, the name and email address you used when you contacted us originally). We may ask you to verify your identity before we release any data, to protect against fraudulent requests.
