Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Our Commitment
Sarivale Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in every part of our business and our supply chain. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of forced labour, child labour, debt bondage, or human trafficking, and we expect the same standard from every supplier and partner we work with.
This statement is published in line with the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. While Sarivale’s annual turnover does not currently meet the legal threshold that requires a formal slavery and human trafficking statement, we publish this voluntarily because we believe transparency on these issues is important and because our clients expect it.
About Sarivale
Sarivale Ltd is a precision speaker cabinet manufacturer based in Calne, Wiltshire. We have been trading since 1991, building hand-crafted cabinets for the world’s leading professional audio brands. Our team is based entirely in the United Kingdom, and all manufacturing takes place at our workshop in Calne. We are a small, family-run operation where the directors know every member of the team personally.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is relatively short and well understood. The main categories of supplier we work with are:
- Timber suppliers. We source Baltic Birch plywood and other sheet materials from established trade suppliers. We monitor the source of these materials and prefer suppliers who can demonstrate compliance with FSC or equivalent responsible-sourcing standards.
- Hardware suppliers. Handles, corners, catches, threaded inserts, and other fittings are purchased from specialist suppliers in the UK and Europe.
- Coating and adhesive suppliers. Primers, lacquers, polyureas, polyurethanes, and adhesives are purchased from established industrial coating manufacturers. These are generally large, regulated businesses with their own modern slavery policies.
- Logistics partners. Cabinets are dispatched to clients using courier and freight forwarding companies. We use established UK and international logistics providers.
Due Diligence
The steps we take to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our supply chain include:
- Choosing suppliers we know and have worked with for many years where possible, so that the relationships are personal and visible
- Reviewing the modern slavery statements of larger suppliers where they publish one
- Asking new suppliers about their own supply chain controls before placing significant orders
- Avoiding suppliers in regions where there is a high known risk of forced labour, where alternatives are available
- Acting promptly on any concerns raised by employees, clients, or other parties
Our Workforce
Every member of the Sarivale team is paid at least the National Living Wage and is given a written contract of employment that complies with UK law. Our workshop is in the United Kingdom, our employees are recruited directly, and we do not use any third-party labour agencies for production work.
We promote a workplace where any concerns can be raised directly with the directors without fear of negative consequences. The small size of the business means that issues are visible quickly and can be addressed quickly.
Training and Awareness
Because Sarivale is a small team, formal training programmes are less practical than ongoing awareness within the workshop. The directors are familiar with the obligations of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the indicators of forced labour, and they ensure that anyone responsible for purchasing or supplier management understands them too.
Reporting Concerns
If you have any reason to believe that modern slavery is taking place anywhere in our business or our supply chain, please contact us in confidence at enquiries@sarivale.co.uk. We will investigate any credible concern and take appropriate action.
