Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Sarivale is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology, or context. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to Level AA, which is the standard recommended for public-facing websites in the UK.
We believe that an accessible website is simply a better website. The same principles that make a site easier for someone using a screen reader or keyboard navigation also make it easier for everyone else.
What We Have Done
The following measures have been taken to make this website accessible:
- Semantic HTML. Pages are built using meaningful HTML elements such as headings, lists, navigation regions, and landmarks so that assistive technologies can interpret the structure.
- Alternative text. Images that convey information have descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked as such so that screen readers do not read them aloud unnecessarily.
- Colour contrast. Text and background colours have been chosen to provide sufficient contrast for readers with low vision. The dark green and cream palette has been tested against WCAG contrast requirements.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements can be operated using the keyboard alone. A “Skip to main content” link is provided at the top of every page.
- Readable typography. Body text is set at a comfortable size and line height, and the font choices were selected for legibility on both screen and print.
- Responsive layout. The site adapts to different screen sizes, from large desktop monitors to small mobile devices, without requiring horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced motion. We respect the operating system “reduce motion” preference, and animations are disabled or simplified for users who have it enabled.
Known Limitations
We are honest about where the site does not yet meet our own standard. The following limitations are known and on our list to improve:
- Some placeholder images do not yet have rich descriptive alternative text. These will be updated as the imagery is finalised.
- The contact form has not yet undergone formal accessibility testing with a range of assistive technologies. We intend to test it thoroughly and address any issues found.
- Embedded third-party content, such as Google Maps, may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are looking at alternatives where possible.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier we have not listed here, please tell us using the contact details below.
